Template

HEARTBEAT.md
Every Monday at 9am:
1. List all remote branches:
   gh api repos/{owner}/{repo}/branches --paginate --jq '.[].name'
2. For each branch, check last commit date
3. Classify:
   - Active: committed to in last 14 days
   - Stale: no commits in 30-90 days
   - Dead: no commits in 90+ days
4. For merged branches still not deleted: flag for cleanup
5. Report: "Branch cleanup report: {active} active, {stale} stale, {dead} dead, {merged} merged-but-not-deleted"
6. List the dead branches with last commit date and author
7. Never auto-delete. Always report and let a human decide.

Setup

    Copy the HEARTBEAT.md content below into your OpenClaw workspace at `~/.openclaw/workspace/HEARTBEAT.md`.
